What a Warrant Check Does for You
A warrant check puts you in control. Instead of being surprised at a traffic stop or at work, you find out first and decide how to handle it.
How the Warrant Check Works
When you call us, we search Potter County and Randall County court and law enforcement records to check for active arrest warrants in your name. We look for warrants from misdemeanor charges, felony charges, failures to appear, and other violations.
If a warrant is found, we tell you right away. We explain what the warrant is for, what the likely bail amount will be, and what your options are. You are never left wondering what comes next.
If you decide to turn yourself in, we can have a bondsman ready at the Potter County Detention Center before you even walk in. That means you spend as little time in custody as possible and come home the same day in most cases.
Planned Surrender vs. Unexpected Arrest
When you know about a warrant ahead of time, you choose when and how you deal with it. You can arrange time off work, arrange childcare, and have a bondsman ready so you walk out the same day. An unexpected arrest gives you none of those options.
Why You Should Check Before It Is Too Late
Warrants do not go away on their own. An old missed court date or an unpaid fine can turn into an active arrest warrant that follows you for years. The longer a warrant sits, the more problems it creates.
- A warrant can show up during a routine traffic stop
- Employers and landlords sometimes find warrants during background checks
- Warrants can be discovered at airports and border crossings
- Being arrested unexpectedly at work or home is far more disruptive than a planned surrender
- Courts look more favorably on people who handle warrants voluntarily
We serve Amarillo, Canyon, Borger, Pampa, Hereford, Dumas, and all Texas Panhandle communities. If the warrant is in Potter County or Randall County, we can find it.
